Hotel building was held under the individual project of the leading architect of Moscow - Dmitry Chechulin - and it came in post-war years. Officially the hotel was put into service in 1956. Its name is a symbol of friendship between the Soviet Union and China. The hotel building of Stalin-classicism style always draws a sight of visitors and Muscovites: it is difficult to pass by such monumentalism and grandiosity.

Directly opposite Mayakovskaya Metro Station and just 2 stops from the Kremlin, this 4-star hotel offers fine international cuisine. Its large rooms and suites are air conditioned and include a flat-screen TV.
